Most of us have experienced sleepless nights. You may be walking through a season of suffering right now. When our circumstances and path forward look dark, it can be helpful to look at what posture Jesus took when approaching the crucifixion.
A few weeks ago, upon waking, I made a split-second decision and altered my morning routine. What I learned was that we can all use a little “re-direction” and reminding about where our focus should be!
My husband and I traveled to Cambodia– just the two of us– to celebrate the birth of Christ with people very dear to us. I believe God gently placed this on my heart several years ago, and wow! God met us there with circumstances I was not prepared for.

This morning during my bible reading, I was reminded how suddenly God can make all things new and bring light into a dark season.
It was almost as if I could sense God whispering, “My door is never closed– you are always welcome, and my arms are always open, open to everyone.”
Scripture has much to say about creation. It sings out dramatically, as there are countless verses highlighting the beauty God has created
Is there some mountain in front of you, and you’re not sure what to do? Have you taken this to a place where you are seeking God with all your heart?
It is by stepping into a more intimate relationship we can receive the fullness of the great love God has for each of us.
Can you recall a time you were blinded by the difficult circumstances or heartache right in front of you?

Raised socially Catholic, turned Jesus follower at the age 30, she continues to seek HIS presence and His journey for her life.
