That's Love

“And may you have the power to understand,

as all God’s people should,

how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.”

Ephesians 3:18 (NLT)

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love.

Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,

neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—

not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.

No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed,

nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from

the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:38-39 (NLT)

Just reaching out today to wish each of you Happy Valentines Day!

It’s a day for expressing love and celebrating the gift of love we each have in our lives—a time set aside for couples and families to celebrate their love through gifts, the beauty of flowers, sharing a special meal, or finding that perfect card.

I hope you can take some time to PAUSE among the hustle and bustle of the day’s hype and contemplate on the love God has for each of you. This love is perfect, never fickle, conditional or is it irreversible. It has transformative power; it can heal wounds, mend brokenness and provide strength we need during difficult times. We don’t need to earn it, and it leads to profound fulfillment deep within our souls.

In addition to those above, here are some of my favorite Bible verses to help you reflect on just how deeply God loves you. Why not select the one that touches your heart the most and commit to memorizing it or posting it in several places where you will be reminded of God’s great love throughout your day?

Zephaniah 3:17 1 John 4:19 Jude 1:21 Psalms 36:7

Jeremiah 31:3 Psalms 63:3 Isaiah 54:10 John 3:16
